Shipping InformationThis beautiful, oily single malt whisky began its life in 20L ex-Apera Sherry French Oak casks then was finished in a second fill 100L ex-Apera Sherry French Oak cask and finally in a 200L ex-Bourbon American Oak cask. The Apera gives the spirit those delicious creamy stewed fruit and raisin undertones while the Bourbon cask coats it in spice and wood sugars providing a delicious vanilla toffee sweetness.

Rob's Tasting Notes
Nose
Plenty of vanilla and toffee from the American oak, joining pear and apple essences. A hint of brininess. Lots to discover, sweetness balanced with rye style pepper creating a more elegant spirit.
Palate
Big spicy bourbon subdues into creamy sweet apera. Complex and evolving. The rawness of the bourbon influence gives this the most characterful (gutsy) forward profile but equally backed by that glossy stone fruit floral sweetness of the apera.
Finish
All apera. Lovely stewed fruits, raisins linger long after the initial sip, taking you back to the nose. Just yum.
